Course Overview

HOP Fundamentals for Senior Leaders introduces senior decision-makers to the principles and mindset of Human and Organisational Performance (HOP). The course shows how leadership choices shape safety culture, system design, and operational learning, moving beyond compliance to foster meaningful engagement.

Leaders examine current safety paradigms, the five HOP principles, and their role in building system capacity and learning. Key themes include psychological safety, organisational resilience, shifting from blame to accountability, Just Culture and restoration, understanding error in context, and the realities of Work as Imagined vs Work as Done.
